Dispatch logistician

Galaxy Freightline Inc. located at 1580 Britannia Rd E, Mississauga, ON L4W 1J2, requires 1 Dispatch Logistician on a Permanent full-time basis.
Wage: $ 36 per hour
Hours – 30 to 40 hours per week
Education – College
Experience Required - 2 years to less than 3 years’ verifiable experience is required.

Duties
• Overall co-ordination for scheduling, route planning and dispatching trucks for deliveries, pick-ups in GTA & all over Ontario, Canada.
• Ensure smooth and optimized use of fleet to help management achieve and maintain the goal of 98% on-time delivery percentage
• Oversee the effective execution of all the necessary documentation such as trip sheets, settlement sheets, post-delivery paperwork including random check on junior dispatchers, drivers, yard crew etc.
• Encourage and promote the positive working environment for better working co-ordination between warehouse, yard, operations and dispatching personnel
• Ensure the company safety standards and other compliance procedures are fully followed
• Responding and efficient handling of vehicle breakdowns and other emergency situations
• Attend and resolve customer complaints ensuring minimum escalations to the management
• Operational knowledge of Fleet Management software, Loadlink software and MS Office programs.
