Position being offered is Full-time & Permanent

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare doughs, batters and mixtures for custom and premium dessert items — including multi-tier wedding cakes, mini cakes, macarons, cookies and plated desserts — according to recipes or special customer orders.
• Mix and prepare icings, frostings, fillings, glazes and decorative elements used in the company’s luxury dessert product line.
• Bake mixed doughs and batters using commercial ovens and equipment, ensuring optimal texture, flavour, appearance and consistency for all baked goods.
• Frost, fill, assemble and decorate cakes and other sweet goods — ensuring the finished items meet the artistic and high-end presentation standards of Fine Cakes by Zehra.
• Create and draw up production schedules to determine the type and quantity of baked goods needed for weddings, events, custom orders and standard offerings.
• Supervise and train baking kitchen staff and personnel in the preparation, handling, baking and finishing of the full product range.
• Organize and maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients ; assist with purchasing and stock rotation to ensure product availability and freshness.
• Inspect baking kitchen, equipment, workstations and food-service areas to maintain cleanliness, food safety, hygiene and allergen-control standards (including custom orders for clients with allergies or intolerances).
• Operate and maintain baking and decorating machinery and equipment safely (mixers, ovens, sheeters, decorating tools) to support production of premium dessert items.
• Oversee the presentation and merchandising of finished products (cakes, dessert towers, cookie assortments, macarons) to ensure the visual appeal and quality of items prepared for client pick-up or event delivery.

Qualifications:

• Completion of High school
• 7 months to one year of relevant experience
