Early Childhood Educator (ECE) – Permanent Full-Time
Location: Penticton, BC V2A 8E1
Salary: $29.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work setting:
- Child care centre / Day care centre or nursery school
- On-site work only (no remote option)
- Employer is willing to relocate qualified candidates

Responsibilities:
- Bathe, diaper and feed infants and toddlers
- Develop and implement child-care programs that support physical, cognitive, emotional and social development
- Lead activities: storytelling, teaching songs, preparing crafts, taking children to local points of interest
- Guide children in developing proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural issues and prepare reports
- Plan and maintain a safe, healthy environment
- Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants
- Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties
- Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods

Credentials required:
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate

Security and safety:
- Criminal record check required
