We are currently seeking one full-time, permanent Motel Manager.

Job Duties

•          Manage all aspects of day-to-day motel operations, manage staff, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, laundry services, and guest services.

•          Oversee motel budgets, control expenses, and prepare financial reports.

•          Establish operational policies and procedures.

•          Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff members (front desk clerks, housekeeping, maintenance personnel, etc.).

•          Monitor employee performance and administer disciplinary actions as necessary.

•          Resolve staff and customer issues and complaints in a professional manner.

•          Generate and submit performance reports to owners or corporate management.

•          Ensure compliance with all applicable local, provincial, and federal regulations, including those related to health, safety, labor, and fire codes.

•          Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and community members

•          Purchase, store, and manage supplies from vendors

•          Maintain lodging facilities, assigning duties to motel personnel, observing and monitoring staff performance and making sure that they adhere to company rules and regulations

Employment Requirements

•          A university degree or college diploma in hotel management or a related discipline is typically required.

•          At least 2 years of management experience is required.

•          Excellent communication skills written and oral English are required.

•          Strong leadership and management skills

•          Demonstrated ability to increase revenue and profitability

•          Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

•          Ability to handle and resolve customer complaints and issues

•          Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
