Web Designer

Atlantic Gateway Network Inc is looking for two exceptional Web Designers to join our team and help us execute growth strategy.

Job Details:
Job Title: Web Designer
Positions Available: 2
Business and Work Location: Halifax Region, NS, Canada
Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Permanent, Full-time
Salary: $25-28 per hour (to be negotiated) depending on experience

The Web Designer will:

1. Understand and analyze companies’ business needs to draft the requirements of websites
2. Define the information structure and architecture of websites, considering technical requirements
3. Design webpage mock-ups, social media banners, email templates
4. Source, choose and put together data for consideration and plan the appearance, flow and layout of the web page and develop website sections
5. Outline, write and organize the contents of websites
6. Plan, design, write, modify, integrate and test website related code
7. Perform security and quality tests to ensure smooth running of websites
8. Work with marketing and administrative teams to optimize the functions of different web pages
9. Research and evaluate software

10. Execute other tasks as required

Employment requirement:

1. Language: English
2. Minimum of a College Diploma in Computer Science, Web Design, Business or a related discipline
3. At least one year work experience in related field
4. Experience in online media and social media account management is an asset
