Duties:

• Co-ordinate and monitor the operation of a particular aspect of metal through control systems including and not limited to foundry machinery-equipment.
• Operate foundry related machinery, cupola furnace, molders, lathes, milling machines, sand mixer, snag grinder, hand grinder, amongst other related foundry equipment
• Co-ordinate and operate with production crew such as machine and process operators, assistants and helpers

• Start up and shut down the production system in cases of emergency or as required by schedule
• Provide, follow and/or organize training for members of production crew as well as patch and repair defects
• Maintain shift log of production and other reports.
