My spouse and I residing at 12136 – 84A Avenue Surrey BC V3W8L7 Surrey, BC is looking Caregiver – Seniors for the help of our mother age 66+ years. This on a live in or live out basis (optional accommodation available at not charge on a live-in basis). The caregiver will be working at employer’s location but is free to live outside the home and we will help to find out an affordable accommodation nearby work. Work schedule of employee may vary according to work schedule of the employer.

TITLE OF POSITION AVAILABLE: Caregiver for seniors

NATURE OF EMPLOYMENT: Full-time & Permanent (40 hrs/week) 8 hr/day

POSITIONS AVAILABLE : 01

WAGE : $15.20/hr

BENEFITS : 4% vacation pay

LANGUAGE : Functional ENGLISH required and Punjabi language assets

WORK EXPERIENCE : 1+ yrs. relevant experience

EDUCATION : High school, Additional training program done in related field will be given preference,

JOB DUTIES:

• Assist with her daily routine, from bed to the washroom, bathing, personal care, dressing and undressing.
• Plan, prepare meal and special diets, and feed or assist in feeding her.
• Assist with her daily exercise instructed by her family doctor.
• Accompany her with her doctor's appointments.
• Can not be left her alone for health and safety issues.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties such as laundry, washing dishes and making bed etc.
