Long Haul Truck Driver

West Coast Home and Truss Ltd. (Corporate office address: 10230 – 120 Street, Surrey BC, V3V 4G1) requires 1 Permanent and Full Time Class One Long Haul Truck Driver.

Company Driver Pay Scales:

Company Driver Base Pay (CLASS 1) $25.20 - 30.00/Hr

Company Driver Requirements:  Class 1 License W/Air break Endorsement is required.

Completion of secondary school is asset not mandatory.

Language: Functional English/CLB Level 4 (Canadian Language Bench Mark Level 4 is required as per ICBC requirement)

Duties:

·  Driving the vehicle is the main responsibility of the truck driver.

·  Driver must maintain a logbook of their driving activities to ensure compliance with federal regulations governing the rest and work periods for operators.

·  Driver must keep a record of vehicle inspections and make sure the truck is equipped with safety equipment, such as hazardous material placards.

·  Driver may have to plan their route according to a delivery schedule.

Selected Driver is required to drive thrugh out British Columbia,Alberta,Sasketchwan and Some Parts of Washington USA
