Line Cooks at The Pony perform the following duties:
• Set the line for lunch and dinner service
• Prepare menu items as directed using quality, local ingredients. Our menu reflects the rustic nature of the area with upscale, classic touches
• Execute a range of hot appetizers and main dishes using a variety of cooking techniques including grilling, frying and more
• Execute a range of cold appetizers and main dishes including salads and sandwiches
• Observe high standards for food quality and presentation
• Take direction form head chefs/owners
• Pitch in with kitchen duties and cover stations as required
• Mindful of food safety concerns including cross contamination, temperatures and PHFs. Receive and store food; check for quality
• Ability to work in a busy, high volume environment; effective working style with good communication skills
• One year experience is an asset

Wage: $16.50 to $18.50 hourly
Hours: 30 hours per week, Full time-permanent
Language: English or French
Start date: as soon as possible
