Cleaning Supervisor

Position: Cleaning Supervisor

Job Type: Full time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 2

Salary: $27.50 per hour

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work location: Various locations in Lower Mainland areas in BC and/or as per the company's contracts.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect sites or facilities to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are being followed.
• Prepare work schedules, supervise, and coordinate the work of staff.
•  Oversee and monitor the usage of cleaning materials.
•  Recommend or arrange for additional maintenance services (e.g., repair work, renovation, painting etc.).
•  Facilitate staff meetings as required to implement policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
•  Assist in hiring and training new staff.
• Maintain open communication with Manager regarding safety, supplies, and other related business concerns.
•  Assist in budget preparation and cost estimation.
•  May perform certain cleaning duties as required.

Position Requirements

• Completion of Secondary School
•  Experience as a cleaner or previous experience in a particular area of cleaning
•  Ability to manage multiple priorities, and execute tasks with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively analyse, plan, organize, prioritize, and meet deadlines
