Food Counter Attendant

Great Job Opportunity!

2 x Permanent Full-Time Food Counter Attendants wanted for “Kolba Restaurants Ltd. o/a Inglewood Drive-in" located at #802 12 Street S.E., Calgary, AB T2G 3H5.  Wage rate is $15.00 per hour and works 30 to 44 hours per week. Benefit includes employee meal, 4% vacation pay and continuous learning opportunity

JOB DUTIES:

• Greet and serve customers at counters and take their orders
• Receive and process payment for food items purchased using cash register terminal
• Portion, assemble, and wrap food for service to patrons and package take-out food daily, while following proper food handling procedure
• Clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances
• Use deep fryer, grill, oven, dispensers, and other equipment to prepare fast food items such as variety of sandwiches, hamburgers, fries, salads, ice cream dishes, milkshakes, and other hot and cold beverages
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars and other storage for stocks
• Maintain cleanliness in the workplace including sweeping and mopping floors in all areas of the restaurant
• Perform other secondary duties as assigned by superiors such as assisting others during peak periods in a fast-paced team effort environment

REQUIREMENTS:

Skills:Reading text, Numeracy, Communication, Working with others, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use, Continuous learning

Education: No specific education required.

Experience: Food service experience is an asset but not required, as employer will train. 

Other:        Very busy restaurant, looking for committed workers with flexible availability to work weekends, to be able to meet our business needs and customers' satisfaction.  Employer will do reliability check.  Part-timers welcome to apply!
