| York Marble Tile & Terrazzo Inc. 2 Sheffield St. North York, ON M6M 3E6 Work Locations: Various locations throughout GTA Position: Marble Mechanic Vacancies- 24 $40.35/ Hour 40 Hours per Week Full time, Permanent Benefits: As per the Collective Bargaining Agreement Languages- English Education- Secondary (high) school graduate certificate or Equivalent Experience Experience- 2 years to less than 3 years Specific Skills Prepare, measure and mark surfaces to be covered Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural and floor designs Cut, surface, polish and install marble and granite Mix, lay and polish terra surfaces Additional Skills Able to read design specification and complete layout as per drawings Prepare surfaces to install marble Install various accessories, such as edge strips, thresholds, and door casings Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities Physically demanding, handling heavy loads, Bending, crouching, kneeling How to apply Apply via email- info@yorkmarble.com |
