Position: Head Cook

Employer: 2140363 Alberta Ltd. o/a Old Town Restaurant

Work location: 2007 Mistassiniy Road, Wabasca, Alberta T0G 2K0

Salary: $19.00/hr-$22.00/hr depending on experience, based on 30-40 hr/wk & overtime rate provided after 8hrs/day, and 44hrs/wk   

Paid Vacation: 4% vacation pay

Position Available: 1

Work Setting: Restaurant

Language: English

Education & Experience:

• Completion of secondary school
• 3~5 years of relevant work experience or completion of a program in cooking.  

Job duties:

- Prepare and cook complete meal course or individual dishes using recipes,

- Work with the owner to prepare high-quality dishes in keeping with the Restaurant’s standards,

- Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor  

  and order supplies

- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers,

- Inspect kitchens and food service areas,

- Clean kitchen and work areas,

- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
