Concrete Paving Foreman/woman

Full-time position with Stonecast Contracting Limited located at 735 South Service Road, Stoney Creek, Ontario. The candidate will be required to work a minimum of 50 hours per week at the rate of $39.42 per hour ,with overtime being paid after 44 hours. The candidate will be required to travel to various job sites in Oakville, Burlington, Kitchener/Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton and Niagara. We also offer a competitive benefit package including extended health, dental and vision care.  The qualified candidate will have three to five years of experience as a Construction Foreman, as well as extensive knowledge and experience in Concrete Finishing and Asphalt application.  The qualified candidate must be able to communicate in the English language.

Duties will include: Supervision of paving crews; assigning tasks to crew members; providing direction to crews on thickness of asphalt/concrete; oversee and complete concrete formwork projects; measuring quantity of asphalt/concrete to be ordered; picking up materials required for job sites; supervising and assisting crew with pouring and finishing of concrete; attending site meetings with customers; supervising and assisting crew with clean up after completion of projects; monitoring health and safety requirements at job sites; training new staff to meet company requirements; arranging final walk through of sites with customers.
