Great Job Opportunity!

Permanent Full Time Child Caregiver - Private Home wanted for Baniqued's residence in the Sage Valley Blvd NW Community in Calgary AB.  Wage rate is $16.19 per hour and works 44 hours per week.  Benefit includes 10-business days vacation leave per year. 

JOB DUTIES

• Supervise and care for child in the employer's residence
• Bathe, dress, and feed the child
• Oversee child’s activities, such as meals and rest periods, as instructed by parents
• Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development
• Tend to the emotional well-being of the child
• Discipline child according to the methods requested by parents
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading, and outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Plan, prepare, and serve meals for the child
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Maintain a healthy environment in the home

Essential Skills: 

Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with others, Decision making, Critical thinking, Job task planning and organizing

Education:

Completion of high school is required.  Any related courses to providing care to any individual would serve as an asset.

Work experience:

Previous work experience would serve as an asset but not required, as employers will train.
