Position: Plumber - (NOC 7251)- 10 vacancies

Terms of employment: Permanent, Full-time, Overtime, Day
Salary: $26.00 to $36.00 hourly, depending on experience, for minimum 30 hours per week. After becoming a permanent resident, there will be opportunities for promoting to Foreman level with rates as high as $48, company vehicles, annual bonus, referral bonus and other benefits for individuals who are able to qualify.

Company: BC Comfort is a well-established Mechanical Contracting company in the Lower Mainland. We are looking for Journeymen, 3rd year, and 4th year Plumbers to join our team.  
Specific skills:

  • Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems
  • Install, repair and maintain domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
  • Measure, cut, bend and thread pipes using hand and power tools or machines
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Experience working with PVC, PEX piping, Copper Piping, Cast Iron Piping, Stainless Steel and black steel piping

 

Additional skills: Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications, Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites.
Work location information: Various locations in British Columbia
