Job Overview

Acura Embedded Systems is a designer and manufacturer of ruggedized computers, touch screen and Digital Video recorder for use by commercial business, heavy industries like Oil-Gas, Mining, First responders and Military.

We design DVR systems and applications for specialized surveillance systems for Oil-Rig, fracturing trucks and mining equipment. Our ruggedized products include touch screen and display units, computers, digital video recorders, cameras, modems, antennas, power supply units.

We are currently looking for expert Technical Sales Specialist to join our sales team. The Technical Sales Specialist will be a key member of our sales team and will be responsible for providing technical expertise to the sales team enabling team to understand our clients’ needs.

The Technical Sales Specialist will be working closely with our sales and development team ensuring development of appropriate products, solutions and delivery of our services to our clients. The Technical Sales Specialist will be meeting clients and presenting product proposals by providing technical expertise and support to clients during pre-sale and post-sale stages.

Specific Skills

• Maintain and grow sales relationships with existing clients
• Identify and solicit potential clients
• Assess clients' needs, recommend or assist in the selection of appropriate solutions, and negotiate prices and other sales terms
• Provide input into customized product design where products and services must be tailored to suit clients' needs.
• Develop sales and go-to-market strategy by identifying and soliciting potential clients
• Develop sales presentations, proposals, or other materials to illustrate benefits from use of our products and services
• Estimate costs of developing, installing and maintaining product or service
• Prepare and administer sales contracts and maintain customer records
• Consult with clients after sale to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support
• Troubleshoot technical problems related to product
• Develop and maintain technical product and service knowledge to explain features to clients and answer questions about our products and services
• Develop, implement and report on marketing plans and sales strategies to achieve business goals
• Assess market conditions and competitors' activities and develop an awareness of emerging markets and trends
• A driver's license and a good driving record may be required.
• May supervise the activities of other technical staff and sales specialists.
• May offer training in the operation and maintenance of our product
