Web Developer at Sandol Enterprise Ltd.

Sandol Enterprise Ltd. has been importing commodities and goods from foreign countries and distributing them to domestic retail stores, and we have launched our own online shopping and delivery services with a wide range of selection including fresh fruit and meal kits since 2014. With a growth and expansion of the online shopping website, we are looking for a Web Developer who can develop and maintain features for our website. The detailed information of this position is as follows:

Position: Web Developer

Wage: $32.50 - $33.50 per hour (Depending on working experience)

Working Hours: 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Starting Date of Employment: As Soon As Possible

Position Available: 1

Benefits: 4 % vacation pay or 10 days of paid vacation

Work Location: 8661 201 St, 2nd Floor, Langley TWP, BC, V2Y 0G9

Job Duties:

• Consult Sandol Enterprise Ltd. on the development and maintenance of the website;
• Design, implement, and test the website’s coding according to the development plan and deadlines using HTML, CSS, Javascript and so on;
• Build and optimize the content and readability of the website by utilizing a variety of graphics, database, and other design techniques;
• Co-ordinate with the other team members on the development of website graphics and content to promote interactivity and accessibility of the website;
• Plan and design the website’s information architecture and make decision on hardware and software requirements;
• Perform regularly quality assurance and security tests as part of the website maintenance;
• Source and organize information to improve layout and flow of the website to maximize usability and inclusion;
• Research the latest trends of interactive media software products and develop plans to control traffic to the website.

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree, usually in computer science, communications or business or completion of a college program in computer science, graphic arts, Web design or business is required;
• At least 1+ year of experience as a computer programmer or web developer or graphic designer is usually required;
• Ability to think critically, work in a team, and meet deadlines are required;
• Communication in English is required.
