Desi Dosa Madras Restaurant (2012) Ltd DBA Desi Dosa Madras Restaurant located at 8859 120th street Delta BC V4C 6R6, a popular South Indian specialty food restaurant, has vacancies for 2 Cooks. Positions are Full time, 40 hrs/week, @/$16.50 /hr. Job duties involve: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, Order supplies and equipment, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment, Clean kitchen and work areas, Recruit and hire staff, Manage kitchen operations. Applicants must have completed high school with several years of experience in commercial cooking or have a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking.
