Job requirements:

Education: College/CEGEP or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work Location: Outdoors, Various locations

Personal Suitability: Reliability, Flexibility, Organized, Team player, Client focus; Prepare proposals, Estimate costs, Write specifications, Prepare contracts and tenders, Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens, Read and interpret blueprints

Area of Specialization: Plant knowledge and identification, Tree service

Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Word & MS Excel

Specialists Specific Skills: Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease, Plant and move trees, Plan and co-ordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses and other purposes, Apply fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides, pesticides and other lawn care products, Apply various treatments such as pruning, spraying, repairing damaged areas and injecting with treatment solutions, Assess the health of lawns
