Food Service Supervisor

Permanent Full-Time Food Service Supervisor wanted for “2243691 Alberta Ltd. o/a Quiznos Sub Restuarant” located at #Unit 401 - 3 Stonegate Drive NW, Airdrie, AB T4B 0N2.  Wage rate is $16.90 per hour and works 40 hours per week.  Benefit includes employee meal, 4% vacation pay, and continuous learning opportunity.

JOB DUTIES

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staffs who prepares, portions, and serves food to customers. 
• Entertain customers’ complaints and responds to customers in a friendly manner with an appropriate sense of urgency and take prompt action to resolve the issues.
• Maintain records of stocks, weekly sales reports, and wastage. 
• Manage and estimate the restaurant’s inventory and replenish supplies by ordering from our suppliers as required.
• Ensure that the food and service meet good quality standards. 
• Train and coach staffs in their job duties.

Skills Requirements: Reading text, Document use, Numeracy, Writing, Communication, Working with Others, Problem solving, Decision making, Job task planning and organizing, Computer use.

Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Language: English

Work experience: 7 months to less than 1-year previous experience related to any food service is required.
