Cook

Fishy's Tropical Grill is one of Ottawa's favorite Caribbean food restaurants, located in the East End of Ottawa. Fishy's has satisfied customers with authentic Caribbean cuisines for over a decade.

We are looking for a Cook that has sufficient knowledge and experience in the know-how to prepare our menu items. As a cook, you will prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, Inspect kitchens and food service areas, Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, Clean the kitchen and work areas. 

Job Requirements

• Three years of experience preparing and cooking Caribbean cuisine
• One-year culinary diploma or equivalent work experience
• Must be available to work long hours.
• Must be physically fit and capable to stand for extended periods, have attention to details and work well under pressure.
• 40 to 50 hours weekly

Personal Suitability

Must be organized, comfortable taking initiative, flexible, and a team player.
