Must posses a minimum of 3 years expereince supervising kitchen and staff.
- Culinary education or diploma as asset.
- Hands on day to day operations and managing of kitchen.
- Preapre and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Plan menus, determine portion size, estimate food requirements and costs.
- Monitor and order supplies.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas and maintain high standards for upkeep, storing and sanitation.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food, supplies and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers and manage performance.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.
- Maintian the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and front areas.
- Able to lift upto 20kgs and stand for long periods of time.
