Carpenter

Buna Contracting is looking for a qualified carpenter. We provide the highest level of service to our clients as we operate with integrity and reliability with every build. Start date: ASAP
Pay rate: $30/hrs.

Hours per week: 35-40
Location: 677 Linton Street, Coquitlam, BC, V3J 6K2

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades

Job requirements:

Education: High school diploma
Experience: 1-2 years of experience

Language of work: English

Work setting: Construction

Personal suitability: Team player
